BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (M/F/D)
HIGH MOBILITY is the leading vehicle data platform for applications working with personalised car data. We are setting the gold standard for an API platform whereby carmakers can monetise personalised vehicle data to 3rd party data consumers via the single integration of a standardised connected car API. We act as a super consumer of car data. Today thousands of developers globally enjoy building, testing and publishing their applications and services on our platform utilising personalised car data from the best-known car makers in the world.
We are looking for a talented and highly organised Business Development Manager who will be working closely with the Sales Director and the founders to further forge effective relationships with carmakers around the world. Carmakers act as a data provider for HIGH MOBILITY as well as a client for individual connected car projects.
The first focus will be on Europe. You will receive support from our highly passionate team as well as the backing of a respected brand name.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and outgoing, possess the ability to work cooperatively with various levels across the car manufacturer, including with strategic and decision-making executives, and will have the tenacity to negotiate and close deals.
The focus of your role is to make HIGH MOBILITY the go-to vehicle data platform for carmakers. One of your key objectives is to establish data partnerships and individual connected car projects with relevant carmakers. Traveling and community building will mainly focus on Europe.
What this role requires:
Relevant experience in creating and maintaining strategic account management for high profile opportunities
The skillset to establish data partnerships with automotive OEMs as well as to sell individual connected car projects to them
The ability to understand and empathise with customer pain points and to solve them according to our company vision
The dedication to continually research and identify new leads, develop them to strong business opportunities and close deals
The skills to manage RFI/RFPs and other tenders
3+ years of experience in business development or sales (preferably SaaS or connected car companies)
Experience in sales and business development of API-driven platforms or digital marketplaces focusing on automotive clients
A solid market understanding of the automotive and IT industries
A well-established network within automotive OEMs
Significant experience within the digital culture as well as knowledge of trends and innovation in the digital ecosystem
Excellent negotiation and organisational skills, with an emphasis on priorities and achievement of targets
Fluency in English (minimum C1) and German (minimum C1)
Highly motivated, keen to take action, decisive and courageous
