3rd Party Vehicle Data Partnerships
HIGH MOBILITY is the leading platform for apps working with personalised car data. We are setting the gold standard for an API platform whereby carmakers can monetise personalised vehicle data to 3rd party data consumers via the single integration of a standardised connected car API. Today thousands of developers globally enjoy building, testing and publishing their apps on our platform utilising personalised car data from the best-known car makers in the world.
We are looking for a talented and highly organised Business Development Manager who will be working closely with the Sales Director and the founders to further forge effective relationships and cooperations with international data consumers. The target group of 3rd party data consumers includes for instance fleet companies, rental car companies, insurance companies and automotive suppliers.
The first focus will be on Europe. You will receive support from our highly passionate team as well as the backing of a respected brand name. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and outgoing, possess the ability to work cooperatively with app developers of varying levels, as well as fleet companies, car rental companies, insurance and mobility service providers and will have the tenacity to negotiate and close data partnerships.
The focus of your role is to make HIGH MOBILITY the go-to API platform for developers and vehicle data consumers. One of your key objectives is to establish scalable partnerships with relevant companies which can build their apps and connected car use cases using personalised vehicle data. Community building and associated travel will be, for the main-part, Europe-based.
What this role requires:
The experience to build and execute on high performance business development plans for partnerships
The skillset to create and maintain strategic account management for high profile opportunities
The ability to understand and empathise with customer pain points and to connect those to the company vision
The dedication to continually research and identify new business opportunities and lead them to a deal
The skills to manage RFI/RFPs and other tenders
2+ years of experience in business development or sales (preferably SaaS companies)
Experience in sales and business development of API-driven platforms or digital marketplaces
A solid market understanding of of the automotive and IT industry
Significant experience within the digital culture as well as knowledge of trends
and innovation in the digital ecosystem
Excellent negotiation and organisational skills, with an emphasis on priorities
and achievement of targets
Highly motivated, keen to take action, decisive and courageous
